Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Stingray, based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("we", "us"), for your use of meeting.radar: the Mac app, the web app at app.meetingradar.ai, and this website (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use meeting.radar for your company, you confirm that you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

The service

meeting.radar records meetings when you ask it to, turns them into transcripts, minutes and action items, and connects with your calendars to remind you about meetings and keep track of follow-ups. You can keep your data on your Mac, sync it to the meetingradar.ai cloud, or run meeting.radar on your own company server. When your company runs its own server, its agreement with you also applies, and your company is responsible for that server and its data.

Your account

  • Give us accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password and devices secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • You must be at least 16 years old, and old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live.

Your content

Your recordings, transcripts, minutes, notes and action items ("your content") belong to you or your organization. We don't claim ownership of them.

You give us permission to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to run the service for you: for example, to sync it between your devices, send it to the AI model you chose to write the minutes, or email the minutes to attendees when you ask. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from short-lived backup copies described in the Privacy Policy.

We don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

Recording laws and consent

You are responsible for making sure every recording you make is lawful. Many countries require the consent of everyone being recorded. Before recording, tell the people in the meeting, and get their agreement where the law requires it.

Don't use meeting.radar to record anyone secretly, or in a place or situation where recording isn't allowed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or anyone else's rights, including their privacy and intellectual property;
  • record, store or share content you have no right to;
  • try to access other people's accounts or data, or parts of the service you're not meant to reach;
  • interfere with the service, overload it, or try to get around its security or usage limits;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it;
  • use the service to build a competing product.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close your account. Where we reasonably can, we'll warn you first.

AI-generated content

Minutes, summaries, action items and suggested follow-ups are written by AI. They are usually helpful but can be incomplete or wrong, for example by mishearing a name, a number or a date. Please review them before you rely on them or send them to others. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on them.

Other services

meeting.radar works with services run by others, such as Google, Microsoft, Zoom, Teams and AI providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we're not responsible for how they work or for changes they make that affect meeting.radar.

Plans and fees

meeting.radar is free during early access. We plan to offer paid plans with more features or capacity. Before any paid plan applies to you, we'll show you the price and what it includes, and you'll only be charged if you choose that plan. A free option will remain.

Early access and availability

The service is in early access and is still changing. We may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep the service running smoothly but can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. For anything critical, keep your own copy of important minutes; you can export or download them at any time.

Our rights

The meeting.radar software, name, logo and website belong to Stingray. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

Ending your use

You can stop using meeting.radar at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service. If we stop offering the service, we'll give you reasonable notice so you can export your content.

No warranties

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including that it will meet your needs, be uninterrupted or be error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Stingray is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of content you recorded or shared, or because you broke these terms or the law (for example, by recording someone without the consent the law requires), you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts in Riyadh, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it elsewhere. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve it together.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using meeting.radar after that, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.
